What We Build and Fix in Keizer
Keizer and Salem share the same bones, and the same headaches. A lot of homes here were built in the 70s, 80s, and 90s, which means a lot of chimneys are now at the age where the mortar quietly fails and lets water in. That’s our most common call in this town, and catching it early saves you from a rebuild. The other half of our Keizer work is the fun stuff: stone patios and outdoor fireplaces going into the newer neighborhoods near Keizer Station and out along Wheatland. Veneer, brick walkways, block foundations: all the same crew, all backed up after the job’s done.

Brick, Stone, Block, and Concrete in Keizer
One crew, every material, start to finish. We run up to Keizer regularly, so we’re not a company you’ll have to chase down once the work is scheduled. Not sure whether your project calls for brick, stone, or block, or what it’ll run? That’s exactly what the free estimate sorts out, no pressure attached. Here’s the short version of how we handle each, and our main office is a call away if you have questions.
Brick Masonry
The brick chimney on a typical Keizer home has been standing through 30 to 50 winters, and Willamette Valley rain is patient. Once the mortar goes soft, water follows it straight into the flue. Chimney tuckpointing puts fresh mortar back in those joints and stops the damage where it starts. If the firebox or the whole unit is the problem, we also handle fireplace installation and repair. Beyond the chimney, we lay brick patios and walkways and set driveway pavers. One local note: Keizer is flat and the soil is clay, so drainage under any flatwork has to be right the first time or the bricks start to wander.

Stone Masonry
If you’ve got the yard space and you want it to do more, stone is usually the move. Stone patios, built-in fire pits, and outdoor fireplaces turn the big lots out near Keizer Rapids Park and Wheatland into spaces you’ll actually use. We build with flagstone, basalt, and manufactured veneer depending on the look you’re after and what you want to spend. Keizer is mostly flat, so we do less retaining-wall work here than in the hill towns, but the creek corridors and river bluffs are the exception. Want to update the front of the house? Stone veneer changes the whole feel without a full re-side.

Block Masonry
Block is the practical choice when you need strength and value over looks. We build concrete block walls, foundations for garages, shops, ADUs, and additions, plus perimeter walls and raised garden beds. It’s the cheapest masonry per square foot and it goes up fast. Along the busier stretches like River Road and Cherry, a block wall doubles as a privacy and sound barrier that holds up for decades. And if you like block’s strength but want it to look like natural stone, we’ll face it with veneer once the wall is set.
